Your Skills & experience

  • A minimum of 9+ years in a equivalent position,
  • Java building and runtime understanding
  • UNIX/LINUX OS understanding
  • Shell scripting and basic relational data base administration knowledge
  • Web servers administration experience
  • Monitoring solution setup (preferred Geneos or alternative )
  • Basic understanding of various protocols: JMS, HTTP, TCP
  • Basic Java application implementation
  • Experience with database administration/installation for Oracle as well as with SQL and PLSQL,
  • Basic administration and troubleshooting of Proxy Servers/Tomcat/Spring Boot application containers.
  • Experience with SSL related topics like Certificate creation, handling, installation.
  • Personal experience and accountable role within setup Continuous Delivery pipeline, Build Servers and Staging Solutions
  • You collaborate with other team members, 3rd parties and vendors to support/manage infrastructure/environment.
  • Experience in deployment of applications in midrange (Linux) and cloud environments.
  • Experience on configuring and requesting for environments, requesting firewall access etc.
  • Expertise in operating Linux and Windows Environment with good command over scripting languages
  • Working in regulation with industry-standard best practices in close coordination with integration and deployment team.
  • Support and manage test environment preparation for developments teams.
  • Understanding of deployment/build tools like Udeploy/TeamCity/Jenkins etc.
  • Understanding of cloud technologies is an add on.(GCP,Docker,GKE,Openshift)
  • Fair knowledge of SCM BitBucket, GITHUB.
  • Understanding of build tool Maven/Gradle.
  • Experience with tools like JIRA, SONAR, Confluence etc.
  • Fair understanding of Security Code Scanning tools, eg, X-Ray, Veracode.
  • Understanding of IT Governance related processes and practices and strong knowledge of the ITIL framework.
  • Strong understanding of Change Management and Production Release Management Process.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and solving skills.
  • Automate all areas prone to manual errors while quantifying the need and value of an automation.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education/Certification

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline is required; or equivalent combination of education and relevant proven work experience that is required for the specific job level.
