Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Reliability Engineer to provide support for our Life Science Client locatedin Rahway, NJ. The Reliability Engineerplays a crucial role in developing and implementing a comprehensive asset management program focused on risk assessment, maintenance optimization, and work order documentation. This position is integral to identifying, assessing, and managing assets to minimize risk, enhance operational efficiency, and optimize maintenance activities. By collaborating with cross-functional teams and adhering to industry standards and best practices, the Reliability Engineer ensures that assets are functioning at optimal levels, downtime is minimized, and work orders are accurately documented and validated.

What You'll Do

• Risk Assessment: The primary challenge is to conduct thorough and consistent risk assessments of assets to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop effective risk mitigation strategies.
• Conduct Risk Assessments: Regularly conduct risk assessments and evaluations of assets to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop effective risk mitigation strategies.
• Maintenance Optimization: Balancing maintenance activities based on risk assessments to ensure assets are functioning optimally while minimizing downtime and cost is a critical issue.
• Work Order Validation: Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of work orders with established standards and procedures is a key concern for this position.
• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Working with various stakeholders to develop and implement asset management strategies and practices presents a challenge that requires effective communication and teamwork.
• Compliance with Standards: Adhering to regulatory requirements and industry standards related to asset management and risk assessment is a crucial aspect of the role.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or related field, or equivalent experience with industry certifications.
• 3-5 years in asset management, risk assessment, or maintenance optimization in industrial, commercial, or facilities settings.
• Strong analytical, communication, project management, and time management skills. Proficiency in regulatory standards and asset management software.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years of engineering experience, with a focus in reliability or project engineering; similar experience working with/on Facilities or Utilities Maintenance teams
