REMOTE Project Engineer/Technical Program Manager

A REMOTE Project Engineer/Technical Project Manager job is currently available at Belcan. This position will support one of our key aerospace clients with the manufacturing of rocket engine assemblies and subassemblies. This is a remote work position with the need to travel as required to Kent, WA and/or Huntsville, AL. This is a full-time direct position with benefits.

Job Duties:• Support Integrated Product Team lead in engine development and production • Responsible to support and manage requirements and customer interactions • Oversee and manage interfaces between engines and other subsystems • Energetic, organized, and proactive project engineer to track project tasks while aligning to project scope, schedule, cost, and risk • Ability to lead and drive cross-functional collaboration and coordination to lead team to successfully meet project plans • Oversee and manage procurement and production issues to avoid production delays. Work with Supply Chain and Vendors as necessary to maintain schedule. • Understand scheduling and critical paths to drive schedule and avoid delays

Required Qualifications: • Bachelor of Science Engineering degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or similar disciplines. • Minimum 7+ years' experience in aerospace hardware development and project management.• Ability to be self-directed and take project ownership while being remote • Proficiency with MS Office, MS Excel, MS Project. • Occasional travel as needed. • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills: • Direct experience with aerospace firm or agency developing rocket engines • Experience with Turbomachinery• Experience with Machine Tooling• Experience with Manufacturing Processes• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Windchill• Experience with Requirements Management Tools such as DOORS, DOORS-NG, and/or JAMA

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $105,000-$125,00. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
