Renewable Natural Gas Associate

General Summary: The Renewable Natural Gas Associate will be responsible for analyzing and developing new business and growth opportunities for RNG supply and demand.

Primary Responsibilities and Competencies:

• The RNG Associate will be responsible for supporting the RNG Origination team in preparing analytics, reports and proposal responses related to new business and growth opportunities for RNG supply and demand
• Support creation and implementation of strategic sales and marketing plans that successfully achieve business objectives for RNG supply and sales
• Meet customer needs by demonstrating knowledge of customers, pricing, and competition
• Conduct market research and analyze results to adjust sales and marketing strategy to meet optimization goals
• Utilize expertise in environmental markets to identify and develop prospective market opportunities
• Support robust sales pipeline through ongoing business development activities
• Conduct market and client-specific discovery and value proposition development

Required Education, Experience and Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, finance, or related field
• 2-5 years of related work experience in RNG, renewable diesel, or natural gas origination, sales or analytics
• Proven track record of market analysis and commercial deliverables

Skills:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to communicate complex technical information in layman’s terms
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory environmental policies and markets preferred
• Strong analytics skills required
