Residential Carpenter / Jack of all Trades

We are seeking an experienced Master Residential Carpenter who is a true jack-of-all-trades with basic plumbing and electrical knowledge. The ideal candidate must be highly skilled, self-motivated, responsible, and capable of taking a job from start to finish with minimal supervision. This position is ideal for someone who wants long-term growth within a reputable, established company and takes pride in their craftsmanship. --- Primary Responsibilities: 1. Carpentry & Finish Work Perform all phases of residential carpentry: framing, trimming, door and moulding installation, cabinetry, shelving, and custom millwork. Execute precise and detailed work to meet Yorkville’s high-quality standards. 2. Plumbing-Related Tasks Install and replace residential toilets, sinks, and bathtubs. Set up walk-in showers and connect plumbing fixtures securely and accurately. 3. Electrical-Related Tasks Install and replace light fixtures, recessed lighting, and ceiling fans. Tap into existing electrical outlets and ensure all work meets safety standards. 4. Tiling & Finishing Professionally install and align tiles on both walls and floors with proper grouting and leveling. Ensure all finishes are aligned with client and project specifications. 5. General Responsibilities Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. Communicate clearly with clients, supervisors, and team members. Complete projects on schedule and with full accountability for quality and precision. --- Requirements: Minimum 5–10 years of professional residential carpentry experience. Must have minor plumbing and electrical knowledge (installation-level work only). Must be able to take a job from start to finish independently or with a helper. Owns full set of personal hand tools; company provides all power tools and specialty equipment. Must be punctual, reliable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented.
