Residential Construction Project Manager

Custom residential home builder located in North Chicagoland area is looking to fill a full-time Project Manager position for projects located in the Chicagoland area. Candidate should have high-end residential construction experience. Qualifications • Proficient with all technical building skills. • Previous experience working on new construction and remodel projects. • Lead Change Order review and pricing (change orders submitted and processed by office). • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel required). • Highly organized. • Superior communication skills, meetings with homeowners and architects. • Portray a positive attitude and demonstrate professional customer service skills. • College degree is preferred, but not required, or equivalent in field experience. Responsibilities Include, Not Limited To • Management of up to 5 home projects at a time. • Work with superintendent to monitor project costs during all phases of construction. • Oversee adherence to a detailed project schedule, preparation of schedule by office. • Manage on-site subcontractors, deliveries, materials, and logistics. • Collaborate with construction team on pre-construction tasks and project schedule. • Develop and maintain business relationships with owners, architects / engineers and subcontractors. • Provide quality project management to our customers that meets or exceeds their performance standards.
