Residential Electrician

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in residential settings, with a strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), custom new construction and remodel projects acting as a lead site electrician. Responsibilities: - Experience completing electrical work in custom homes (new construction and remodeling) is mandatory. - Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential environments - Perform electrical installations during new construction or renovation projects - Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using appropriate testing devices such as voltmeters - Read and interpret blueprints, designer drawings, cabinet drawings and equipment spec sheets to determine locations and wiring methods - Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, and project managers to ensure electrical work is completed according to specifications - Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times Skills: Self starter, independent, problem solver with an ability to meet or exceed production schedules. - Proven track record of punctuality, professionalism and reliability - 3+ years as a Residential Electrician is mandatory. - Knowledge of frame carpentry for installation purposes - Possess own hand tools and power tools for electrical work - Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately - Ability to communicate with homeowners and general contractors for on site clarifications. - Ability to build and renovate electrical systems efficiently and safely with strong troubleshooting skills.
