Overview We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles and the ability to work effectively in various environments, including field service settings. The Electrical Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our electrical systems. Duties • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot distributed control systems to ensure optimal performance. • Provide exceptional customer service while addressing client needs and concerns regarding electrical systems. • Operate and maintain vision inspection systems to ensure quality control in electrical components. • Work with E & I (Electrical and Instrumentation) tasks, including calibration of instruments and equipment. • Utilize precision measuring instruments for accurate assessments and diagnostics. • Handle high voltage systems safely and effectively, adhering to all safety protocols. • Conduct field service activities, including installation, repair, and maintenance at client locations. • Detect issues within electrical systems and implement effective solutions promptly. • Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and safety standards. Skills • Proficiency in distributed control systems is essential for this role. • Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and address their needs. • Experience with vision inspection systems is preferred but not mandatory. • Knowledge of E & I practices is highly desirable. • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments for accurate diagnostics is required. • Ability to work safely with high voltage equipment is crucial for this position. • Experience in militarized environments or projects is a plus. • Strong problem-solving skills to detect issues quickly and implement solutions efficiently. • Field service experience is beneficial for addressing on-site client needs. • Calibration skills are necessary for maintaining the accuracy of electrical instruments.
