POSITION SUMMARY
As a Malek Plumbing Technician, you're the boots-on-the-ground expert homeowners rely on when the pipes hit the fan. You’re the one who shows up, figures it out, and fixes it right. You’ll diagnose issues, make expert repairs, and when the job calls for more — you’ll pass the baton to our selling techs or Advisors. You’re not here to close — you’re here to earn trust, solve problems, and deliver options the right way.

OBJECTIVES
• Diagnose and repair plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and light commercial settings
• Perform thorough inspections and code-compliant maintenance on water heaters, piping, and household appliances
• Communicate clearly with customers about system issues, solutions, and next steps
• Offer multi-option solutions and pass major repair or system upgrade opportunities to senior techs or advisors
• Support the sales process with accurate notes, confident handoffs, and zero pressure tactics
• Follow up as needed to ensure customer satisfaction and scheduling success
• Keep clear documentation using our CRM and follow process with pride

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Active Texas Tradesman or Journeyman Plumbing License required
• 4,000–8,000 hours under an RMP
• OSHA & Tankless Certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license + clean driving and background record
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Standing, bending, climbing, sitting, small crawl spaces and heights
• Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, sitting, or walking
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Wear safety attire, such as goggles or other protective clothing
• Could be exposed to sounds and noise levels that are uncomfortable and distracting
• Requires the ability to raise, manipulate and maneuver tools, components and materials and handle a variety of items, equipment, control knobs, switches, etc.
• Work in high or elevated places and/or in tight spaces
• Ability to withstand hot and cold indoor and outdoor temperatures
• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential requirements
COMPENSATION
• Hourly base pay + commission & spiffs on qualifying tasks, paid weekly
SCHEDULE
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• On-call rotation required for after-hours emergency service

Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
