Job Description
Stonebridge Roofing, Energy & Exteriors is an established and growing local roofing and company looking for motivated Business Development Representatives to join our team. Your role is to seek out potential new residential customers and create relationships with builders and property managers in the area. We are looking for candidates with the ability to multitask who have strong organizational and communication skills. Prior experience and knowledge of roofing or building construction is essential.
A successful candidate will be a self starter who works with our marketing team and management together in an efficient process. Candidates should have experience with a variety of office software (email tools, spreadsheets and CRM platforms) and be able to communicate with customers and close sales.
Responsibilities
• Self-Generate new leads through distribution of marketing materials and networking.
• Utilize sales tools and data available to create a targeted approach with tangible revenue goals.
• Performing roof inspections of residential properties to determine homeowner needs and project scope.
• Document details roof system, property features, sales visit notes and customer information with a company software platform
• Creating and presenting estimates for roof system replacement in a clear, effective manner.
• Educate customers and ensure they are well informed of the needs of their project and all options available.
• Represent Stonebridge as a trusted leader in the roofing industry and position our products and services above competitors.
• Provide general support for customer communication as needed during the project.
Required Skills
• Proven experience as a sales representative.
• Demonstrate a knowledge of roofing systems and materials.
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
• Proficiency working with industry with software systems and field apps.
• Familiarity with email scheduling tools.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Structure: High Commission and Incentive Structure. This position is expected to earn a minimum of $50,000 to $100,000 or more with the right effort.
