Residential Treatment Center Seeks Overnight Security Guard

Benefits: • 401(k) • Competitive salary • Dental insurance • Health insurance ️ NOW HIRING: Security Guard Location: Los Angeles, CA Program Type: Residential Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment Facility Shift Availability: Full-Time Nights — We are seeking a reliable, observant, and compassionate Security Guard to help maintain a safe environment for clients and staff at our Residential Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment facility in Los Angeles. As part of our operations team, the Security Guard plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of the facility while maintaining a trauma-informed, respectful, and non-confrontational presence. — Key Responsibilities: • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to maintain facility safety • Limit access only to clients, staff and approved visitors • Observe the property for anything unusual and document it accordingly • Conduct routine perimeter checks and log incidents as needed • De-escalate conflict or behavioral issues using non-violent techniques • Observe and report any suspicious or unsafe activity • Support staff in managing visitor access and deliveries • Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow facility protocols • Ensure confidentiality and uphold HIPAA standards Required Qualifications: • High School Diploma or equivalent required • Valid California Guard Card (Required) • Minimum 1 year of security experience, preferably in a behavioral health, medical, or SUD setting • Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations • Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles a plus • CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) What We Offer: • Competitive hourly pay (DOE) • Paid training and professional development • Supportive and mission-driven team environment • Opportunity to make a difference in the recovery journey of others
