Resistance Welder - Aerospace Manufacturing

Job Title: Resistance Welder – Aerospace Manufacturing - 1st & 2nd shift available Company: Precise Metal Products Employment Type: Full-TimeJob Summary: Precise Metal Products is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Resistance Welder to join our aerospace manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing precision welding using resistance welding equipment to assemble aerospace components and assemblies in accordance with engineering specifications and quality standards.Key Responsibilities: • Set up and operate resistance welding machines (spot, seam, projection) to join metal components according to blueprints and welding procedure specifications. • Interpret technical drawings, work orders, and process instructions. • Inspect completed welds for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments and visual inspection techniques. • Monitor equipment operation and make necessary adjustments to maintain weld quality. • Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance. • Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and adherence to company safety policies. • Maintain clean and organized work area in compliance with 5S standards. • Collaborate with quality assurance, engineering, and production teams to resolve issues and improve processes.Qualifications: • Minimum 3 years of resistance welding experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing. • Familiarity with aerospace materials such as aluminum, titanium, and stainless steel. • Ability to read and interpret aerospace blueprints, specifications, and technical documents. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. • Experience with AWS D17.2 and/or other applicable aerospace welding standards preferred. • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in welding is a plus.Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. • Capable of standing for extended periods. • Manual dexterity and visual acuity to perform detailed work.Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer It is the established policy of Precise Metal Products, to provide equal employment opportunities to all qualified persons and to administer all aspects and conditions of employment without regard to race, religion, color, sex, gender, sexual orientation, pregnancy, age, national origin, ancestry, physical or mental disability, severe/morbid obesity, medical condition, military or veteran status, genetic information, marital status, ethnicity, alienage or any other protected classification, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
