We’re a fast-growing construction and home services company seeking an experienced RMP to oversee plumbing operations, bid commercial jobs, and help expand our plumbing service division. This is a unique opportunity for a driven professional who excels in both hands-on plumbing operations and business growth through sales and client relationships. What You'll Do Leadership & Compliance • Serve as the Responsible Master Plumber (RMP) of record, ensuring all work complies with Texas state licensing, safety, and plumbing code requirements. • Oversee permitting, inspections, and documentation for all plumbing projects. • Train, mentor, and supervise journeyman and apprentice plumbers. • Maintain company license status and act as the liaison with state licensing authorities. Commercial Construction • Review plans, specifications, and scope of work for plumbing systems in commercial projects. • Accurately bid and estimate plumbing portions of commercial construction jobs. • Collaborate with general contractors, project managers, and engineers during pre-construction and build phases. • Manage crew foreman, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Residential & Service Work • Oversee residential plumbing service operations, ensuring timely response and high-quality customer service. • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and provide technical solutions for escalated residential plumbing issues when needed. • Support and guide service technicians on advanced or complex calls. Sales & Business Development • Prepare and present bids, proposals, and estimates to clients for both residential and commercial work. • Build relationships with builders, property managers, and homeowners to generate new business. • Actively promote and sell plumbing services, upgrades, and maintenance agreements. • Contribute to company revenue goals through effective sales strategies and customer retention. Who You Are • ActiveTexas Responsible Master Plumber (RMP) licensein good standing (required). • Minimum7+ years of plumbing experience, with a proven track record in both residential service and commercial construction. • Strong knowledge of Texas plumbing codes, permitting, and inspection processes. • Experience with estimating, bidding, and managing plumbing projects of varying size. • Demonstrated ability to lead and train plumbing teams. • Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills. • Sales and business development experience strongly preferred. • Growth mindset and positive attitude COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY As an equal opportunity employer committed to meeting the needs of a multigenerational and multicultural workforce, we recognize that a diverse staff, reflective of our community, is an integral and welcome part of a successful and ethical business.
