PROJECT MANAGER
Nova Construction Services is leading Exterior Building Renovation contractor in New York City looking for a Project Manager with proficient experience in interior/exterior repairs, restoration, and renovation to work in a fast-growing team being responsible to manage the scope, cost, and timeline of the projects through all the construction phases until the final closeout. The successful candidate must be able to manage and resolve conflicts, ensuring completion of the project’s tasks through motivation, positive thinking, time management, and accountability.
Essential Functions:
1. Oversee preparation of the estimates for the project in direct coordination with Estimating Department to ensure project cost are accurate.
2. Review material and products proposed to be use during the project, determinate long term items products and research sources for them.
3. Prepare project schedule and forecast manpower need to project budget on time.
4. Coordinate with Drafting Department preparation of all drawings necessary to be compliance with building.
5. Coordinate with Drafting Department preparation of all necessary shop drawings or details for fabrication new products.
6. Obtain in coordination with Permit Compliance Agent all necessary permits/license for begin the project.
7. Attend and/or lead project awarded interviews/kick off meetings with project architect’s and clients.
8. Attend and/or leads on-going project planning meetings.
9. Reporting progress to clients.
10. Prepare and negotiate all contract time revisions or change orders with architect’s, general contractors, or clients.
11. Prepare and submit in coordination with Finance Department all monthly Payment Application for the project.
12. Coordinate with Procurement Department requisition supplies and materials required to complete the project.
13. Ensure that subcontractor is fully executing his contracted scope of work.
14. Identify conflicts and risks in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.
15. Coordinate execution and resolving all punch list items provided by architects.
Required Qualifications:
- Licenses required:
· Osha-30
· 32-hours Scaffold Supported
· 32-Hours Scaffold Suspended
· Site Safety Training Supervisor 62-hours.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Must have experience in the restoration or related industry.
- 5+ years of experience as Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager.
- Ability to read floor plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Technical proficient in the understanding of building construction, techniques, and materials.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $98,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
