Retail Associate We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions. This role requires a strong understanding of cash handling procedures and the ability to operate a cash register or POS system. Duties • Greet customers warmly and provide retail sales assistance. • Process transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system. • Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring accuracy in cash handling. • Maintain an organized and clean checkout area. • Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining product displays. • Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer experience and drive sales. • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner. • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations. Experience • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. • Proficient in basic math skills, including retail math for accurate transaction processing. • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience operating a cash register or POS system is advantageous. • Strong communication skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
