Retail Associate – Trend-Driven Gift & Beauty Retailer (Austin, TX)

In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will assist with sales, manage inventory, and maintain the overall appearance of the store. Responsibilities • Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately. • Manage cash register operations, including cash handling and balancing at the end of shifts. • Maintain knowledge of current promotions and sales to effectively inform customers. • Assist with stocking shelves and organizing merchandise to ensure an appealing store layout. • Contribute to a fun, upbeat, relaxing atmosphere. • Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service. Qualifications • Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required. • Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. • Ability to perform basic math calculations and handle cash transactions accurately. • Familiarity with stock management procedures is a plus. • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role.
