The Beach Trader is an independently owned and operated beachfront retail store specializing in hoodies, hats, t-shirts, and beach activity essentials. We thrive in a fast-paced sales environment, helping locals and tourists find the perfect gear for their day by the ocean. Position Overview We’re looking for enthusiastic and hardworking Retail Sales Associates who can keep up with our fast-moving sales floor while delivering top-notch customer service. If you love the beach, enjoy meeting new people, and can handle a high-energy work environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you! What You’ll Do • Engage customers with friendly, helpful service • Work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced sales environment • Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately • Stock and organize merchandise to keep the store looking great • Answer questions about our products and make recommendations • Support store promotions and help drive sales What We’re Looking For • Retail or customer service experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person • Strong communication and people skills – you love talking to customers! • Ability to keep up in a fast-paced sales environment, especially during peak hours • Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends and holidays • Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 Lbs.
