Position Overview The Retail Sales Representative (Retail Group Leader) position is a frontline sales role and will primarily be responsible for covering the assigned region. The representative will specialize in retail merchandising, including section reset work, education of store personnel and consumers about product attributes, selling against promotions, problem solving, and building relationships for our brand. They will also ensure product freshness for all retail stores in the region. Principal Duties • Educate key decision makers and end consumers on what sets Daisy Brand products apart from our competitors at various retail stores. • Position Daisy Brand products at the ideal position in the sections, close any existing gaps in distribution, and sell for additional shelf/display space. • Promote Daisy Brand products to consumers in-store. • Build strong, mutually beneficial relationships with retailers. • Communicate progress via regular written reports and other forms of communication. • Collaborate with other members of the sales team on companywide projects and sales initiatives. • Stock shelves and perform section resets, ensuring that Daisy Brand products are displayed according to specifications. • Other duties and special projects as required. Schedule and Travel • Typical workdays are Monday through Friday. • Regular travel. Approximately 50 to 60% days of overnight travel each month. • Remote position. Your work will take place at retail locations and in your home. Qualifications • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the CPG industry. • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. • Ability to lift 20 lbs. • Ability to work in cold temperatures (for example, retailers’ refrigerators). • Ability to drive multiple hours daily. • Bachelor’s degree preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. • Bilingual in Spanish a plus. • Verbal and written communication skills. • Self-motivation. • Ownership mentality. • Relationship building. • Sound judgement and willingness to take measured risks. • Ability to embrace and create change. • Self-confidence.
