We are looking for an experienced Retention Marketing Manager to join our growing team. This person will play an important role in nurturing customers throughout their lifecycle, from first purchase through brand loyalty and advocacy, by optimizing and growing our automated email and SMS programs, and supporting Oak Essentials Subscription and Rewards programs. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and creative thinker with a bias for data-driven decision making. This role reports to the Director of Marketing.
As the Oak Essentials Retention Marketing Manager, your primary responsibilities include the following:
Role and Responsibilities:
- Support the management of the master marketing calendar by working closely with internal teams to plan, develop, execute, and analyze performance of marketing campaigns
- Support the retention team by developing and implementing lifecycle marketing and personalization initiatives to help grow and retain users and increase engagement and repeat visits from them
- Lead workflow closely with key partners across various teams to ensure deliverables are ready in time for campaign launches
- Monitor and track customer feedback and reviews on various platforms and identify opportunities to improve customer relationship
- Build, QA and deploy messages to support Oak Essentials email and SMS programs
- Identify opportunities for optimization of all automated email and SMS journeys
- Execute A/B testing roadmap, and monitor/report on learnings
- Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to develop messaging and creative that is impactful, targeted, personalized, and consistent with brand standards
- Analyze channel performance and provide recommendations for optimization
- Analyze customer data and behavior to identify areas of opportunity for retention campaigns
- Support the larger marketing organization and collaborate on product launches, promotions and other key initiatives
- Monitor industry trends, technology and best practices
Requirements:
- 3+ years retention, lifecycle or digital marketing experience
- Experience with Klaviyo, Attentive or similar platforms
- Demonstrated experience implementing marketing automation, triggered messaging, dynamic content and audience segmentation
- Understanding of A/B testing best practices, with a bias for data-driven decision making
- Proficiency using Excel, Google Analytics, Looker or similar, and able to use data to create actionable insights
- Highly motivated self-starter and responsible with proven assistance and follow-through ability
- Ability to organize and prioritize, managing multiple projects with high attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and display exceptional follow-through and initiative
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to move and lift heavy objects (15 pounds or more) from time to time as required

The annual base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000.
