Retoucher

Our retouchers work closely with the internal photography production staff and internal production account managers on eCommerce and luxury photography for our brand clients.

Candidates must have the ability to successfully manage and produce multiple deadline-driven projects with high image volume while maintaining the utmost accuracy and the highest visual quality. Candidates must be well-versed in Adobe Photoshop. A developed eye and appreciation of professional photography are important factors for consideration and success in the position.

Responsibilities:

• Retouch fashion and beauty as well as eComm photography
• Create masks and paths
• Maintain the integrity of the file structure protocol
• Track image status and address markup per style guides
• Perform quality control check on final images prior to delivery of final assets
• Responsible for retouching a high volume of images while keeping in line with standards and quality of ICS and its partners.
• Review and address markup comments
• Ensuring color consistency between image assets.
• Retouch images in accordance with established guidelines.
• Maintaining the highest standards of retouching.
• Retouch all types of product images (form, accessories, on model, etc)

Requirements

• Strong eye for color and color matching
• Understanding of layer comps
• Patience, professionalism and strong communication essential to the role
• Proactive thinker who can work independently to manage several deadline driven and wide-ranging projects simultaneously
• Strong knowledge in Adobe Photoshop and experience in high-volume retouching and post-production.
• Minimum of 3 years of photo retouching experience
• Strong understanding of color theory and color correction. Must be able to translate and execute color matching from analog products to digital imagery with high degree of accuracy.
• BFA in Arts, Photography, or equivalent industry experience is desireable
• High technical proficiency in Mac OS and Adobe CC Photoshop.
• Proven ability to work efficiently and producing a high turnover of images.
• Proven ability to work to strict deadlines with high pressure and change.
• Ability to manage several deadline driven and wide-ranging projects simultaneously
• Excellent project management and communication skills
• Highly organized and efficiency-focused
• Ability to work with precision under rigorous deadlines, and extended daily schedules when necessary.

Benefits

The base salary for this position is $65,000-$85,000. These numbers represent the low and high end of our salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on various factors which include but are not limited to location, education, skills, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees.
