Job Description

The Risk Management Associate’s main responsibility is to assist in implementing the Information Security Management and Data Privacy Program across Aboitiz Foods. 

He/she will assist in maintaining a collaborative partnership with Aboitiz Foods Business Units (BU) and the AEV Risk Management Team in implementing existing and future ISMS and Data Privacy initiatives.

1. Assist in implementing the Information Security Management and Data Privacy Program across Aboitiz Foods.
2. Assist in performing Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), Vendor Due Diligences related to ISMS and DPMS, and Information Asset Management Registries as assigned. 
3. Assist in developing and implementing awareness activities, education, and training programs aligned with the organization's risk management philosophy and culture.
4. Inspect to ensure that processes are in place to protect the organization's information assets' confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
5. Assists in ensuring that processes comply with ISMS standards and related systems, policies, procedures, and processes and that they are up-to-date and complete.
6. Stays updated on the latest developments in information security management, data privacy security practices, quality, and technology through magazines/periodicals and attendance at relevant seminars and conferences

Others:

1. Actively participate in all company programs including other pillars of and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, risk management etc.
2. Performs other tasks related to the job as may be assigned by the immediate superior.
3. Checks and updates the documentation of ISMS and data privacy policies, procedures and standard operating procedures in line with the Food Group’s standard documentation system.
4. Performs other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
5. Participates in current and futures business initiatives such as Partners in Leadership, Risk Management, Safety, ISO, Branding, 5S, etc.

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of 4-Year course related to Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Business Information System
• Preferably at least 1 year of relevant work experience in information security and data privacy management
• CISSP, GIAC, DPA, PARIMA-Certified Risk Professional or other information security or data privacy certification is a plus.
