This recruitment offers a $5,000.00 Recruitment Incentive to eligible new employees joining UW Medicine
Harborview Medical Center has an opportunity for nurses interested in pursuing a career in the operating room with ourPeri-Op 101 training/residency program.
Harborview's 26 OR suites give operating room nurses the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of high acuity and emergent operating room. This opportunity will be facilitated by Harborview's Operating room education staff of highly experienced nurses.
DEPARTMENT
•
The OR at Harborview is staffed 24 x 7 and performs over 17,000 cases per year.
•
Harborview has 25 individual OR suites that support 13 different surgical specialties.
•
Our perioperative nurses are dedicated nurses who fulfill roles in scrubbing and circulating.
SCHEDULE
•
100%-Rotating variable shift
•
Operating Room nurse positions include an expectation of taking up to 8 standby shifts per year.
This recruitment is for the peri-op cohort starting, February 2026, early application is highly encouraged.
Shadow dates will be offered for candidates moving to next steps
REQUIRMENTS
New Graduate Nurses:
• Passed or have test date scheduled for NCLEX.
• Have/Obtain a Washington state RN license to practice.
• BLS certification.
Experienced RNs are welcome to apply:
• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Have/obtain a Washington state RN license to practice.
• BLS certification.

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details
Pay Range Minimum:$91,152.00 annual
Pay Range Maximum:$165,576.00 annual
Other Compensation:$5,000 Recruitment incentive/ Relocation available
BSN (or higher) premium - $1.00/hour
Certification premium - $1.25/hour
Night premium - $4.50/hour
Weekend premium - $4.00/hour
