Roblox Game Designer

We're looking for a motivated Roblox Game Designer to join our team.

As a Roblox Game Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing engaging and immersive Roblox games.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to create and implement game mechanics, systems, and features
• Design levels, environments, and characters for Roblox games
• Create and iterate on game design documents
• Balance gameplay mechanics and adjust difficulty levels to ensure an enjoyable player experience
• Test and debug games to identify and fix issues
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in Roblox game design
• Work within project timelines and meet project milestones
• Collaborate with artists, programmers, and other team members to bring game ideas to life

Requirements

• Proven experience as a game designer, preferably with experience designing games on Roblox
• Proficient in scripting languages, such as Lua
• Strong understanding of game development principles and mechanics
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Passion for gaming and a strong understanding of player psychology
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal

SALARY RANGE

• $15/hour-$30/hour

LOCATION/SCHEDULE

This role can be based in the Los Angeles office or remote. This position is generally operating during West Coast hours M-F 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
