Roof Repair Technician We are seeking a skilled Roof Repair Technician to join our growing team—someone located in or willing to relocate to Southern California who is ready to travel throughout the region. As a Roof Repair Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems, with a specialized focus on solar panel roof repairs. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. If you have experience in roofing and solar panel systems with a passion for delivering high-quality repairs, we want to hear from you. You must have your own reliable vehicle capable of transporting ladders and roofing materials, along with your own professional tools to be self-sufficient at job sites, since you will often work independently across Southern California. Responsibilities: • Inspect and assess roof conditions to identify damage, leaks, or structural issues • Perform specialized repairs on solar panel mounting systems and roof penetrations • Repair and replace damaged roofing materials including shingles, tiles, flashing, and underlayment • Ensure proper sealing and waterproofing around solar panel installations • Apply caulking, sealants, and other materials to prevent leaks and enhance durability • Conduct routine maintenance on existing roofing systems • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and solar installation diagrams • Document work performed and provide detailed reports to management • Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required • Maintain tools and equipment in excellent working condition • Travel throughout Southern California region as assigned • Collaborate with team members and solar installation crews when necessary Skills & Qualifications: • Required:10+ years of Proven experience with solar panel roof repairs and mounting systems • Strong knowledge of various roofing materials and installation techniques • Experience with shingle, tile, and metal roofing systems • Proficient in the use of power tools and safety equipment for roofing work • Knowledge of waterproofing techniques and leak detection methods • Familiarity with stucco application and masonry work is a plus • Experience with construction estimating for project planning is advantageous • Skills in trim carpentry and flashing installation are beneficial • Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights • Attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation • Must own:Professional ladder system and complete set of roofing tools • Ability to travel extensively throughout Southern California What We Offer: • Part-time position to start with leadership opportunities as our company continues to grow nationwide • Competitive wage negotiable based on experience and expertise • Opportunity to work with a growing company that values skilled craftsmanship • Independence and flexibility in your work schedule • Potential for career advancement as we expand our services Requirements: • Must pass background check and drug screening • Do not apply if you use any illegal substances • Must have reliable vehicle capable of transporting equipment and materials • Must be willing to travel throughout Southern California region Job Type:Part-time (with growth potential) Pay:Negotiable based on experience Schedule:8 hour shifts Work Location:On the road - Southern California region If you are a skilled Roof Repair Technician with 10 + years roofing and solar panel experience looking for an opportunity to showcase your expertise in a dynamic, growing environment, we invite you to apply.
