Job Description
Position Overview:
As the Team Leader for Rostering Integrations and Provisioning, you will lead a dynamic and cross-functional team dedicated to enhancing our product's functionality through seamless integrations with rostering systems. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving product enablement initiatives, ensuring successful integrations,and collaborating with various teams to deliver a world-class user experience.You are an integral part of the teacher and administrator journey, managing onboarding, maintenance, satisfaction and renewal processes.
The overarching mission is to guarantee an exceptional experience for our customers on our platform, ultimately contributing to successful student learning outcomes.This position involves close collaboration with various Nearpod departments and direct engagement with customers, making the ideal candidate a risk-averse innovator.Â
Job Responsibilities:Â
- Liaise with the Engineering, Product, Customer Success, Support, Sales Ops, Salesforce and Sales Teams to ascertain the technical needs of the Nearpod install base for both presale & post-sale.
- Liaise with external partner companies in order to advocate for districts and product needs. Scope the level of effort required for any custom development.
- Manage technical relationships with customer administration and IT teams to ascertain the initial and ongoing technical requirements to guarantee they are achieving their desired outcomes and continued success with the purchased products.
- Lead district-level integration needs,specifically related to SFTP, LMS integrations, specific APIs or other environment variables that will be required to successfully roster and SSO teachers and students to Nearpod’ s platform. Identify training needs for the Customer Success Management, Sales, and Support teams.
- Manage and implement process improvements around onboarding and the rostering of admin, teacher and student data. Basic script writing for limited automation.
- Day-to-day supervision of the IT professionals on your team including time, project and resource management.
- Escalate and track technical issues that have resulted in blocked workstreams to a combination of Support Director and Engineering LeadsÂ
- Generate reports for tracking and auditing not limited to Salesforce reports and database queries.
- Lead team-wide initiatives and projects related to integration and activation data standardization and process updates.
- Provide innovative solutions of enhancements for backend tools to increase productivity across activations and integration processes.Â
- Associate evaluations to continue to foster a challenging environment for team members to develop and enhance their knowledge base.Â
- Prompt decision-making to adapt to a continuously evolving leadership role and responsibilities.Â
- Lead and motivate a team of customer support employees.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:Â
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a customer-facing role with proven success in Leading teams within a technical support environment. customer communication and service.Â
- Able to operate in a highly efficient manner by multi tasking in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
- Driven to exceed expectations, deliverables and milestone dates.Â
- Exceptional technical skills-knowledge of SFTP, LTI, SQL, PHP, Python, with some exposure to APIs.Â
- Knowledge of Classlink, Clever, and Google Classroom preferred.Â
- Superior written and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Education;additional IT certifications preferred.
- Experience working in a SaaS environment a plus.
Additional Information

Salary Range: $61,000-75,000. This range is based on national market data and may vary by experience and location.Â
