Rough and Finish Carpenter , Deck experience

Overview We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be comfortable working on construction sites. This role involves the installation, construction, and repair of structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. A successful Carpenter will demonstrate attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople. Duties • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks. • Perform concrete forming for foundations and other structures. • Execute frame carpentry tasks including building walls, roofs, and floors. • Install stucco and plaster finishes as required in projects. • Assist in metal building erection as part of larger construction projects. • Ensure all work is completed according to specifications and within project timelines. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment on the construction site. Skills • Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, hammers, and chisels. • Experience using power tools including drills, nail guns, and sanders. • Knowledge of installation techniques for various materials including wood, metal, stucco, and plaster. • Familiarity with concrete forming processes. • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. • Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during construction. • Excellent teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with other tradespeople on-site.
