Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Rough and Trim HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves both rough-in installations during the construction phase and trim-out tasks to complete HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, installation techniques, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities: • Rough-In Installation:Install ductwork, refrigerant lines, and ventilation systems during the initial phases of construction, ensuring all components are correctly placed and meet industry standards.​ • Trim-Out Tasks:Complete the installation process by setting up HVAC equipment, registers, grilles, thermostats, and other finishing components, ensuring systems are fully operational and aesthetically pleasing.​ • System Testing and Troubleshooting:Conduct tests to verify system functionality, identify any issues, and perform necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure optimal performance.​ • Compliance and Safety:Adhere to all local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies during installations and service calls.​ • Documentation:Maintain accurate records of installations, services performed, and any equipment or materials used.​ • Customer Interaction:Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of work performed and addressing any questions or concerns.​ Qualifications: • Proven experience as an HVAC technician, specifically in rough-in and trim-out phases.​ • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation techniques.​ • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.​ • Proficiency in using HVAC tools and equipment.​ • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.​ • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.​ • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.​ • EPA Section 608 Certification is preferred.​ Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials (up to 50 lbs).​ • Comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces and at heights.​ • Capable of standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.​ Comprehensive benefits package includes: • Competitive pay, based on certifications and experience • Company vehicle and gas card • Training and trade licensing assistance • Bonus opportunities • Vacation and holiday paid time off • Opportunity for a flex work schedule • ALWAYS potential for advancement Further details will be provided during the interview process and in the job description.
