Scott Felder Homesis an award-winning residential builder in the central Texas area looking for motivated and experienced sales professionals to join our growing team in Austin! We are looking for associates to produce new home sales by demonstrating product features, designs, and benefits to potential homebuyers. Associates will also utilize sales and marketing techniques, company guidelines, and knowledge of their assigned community to achieve company goals and ensure customer satisfaction. Job Responsibilities Include: • Effectively manage sales generation by utilizing marketing materials, model homes, local resources and realtor relationships. • Tour and demonstrate model home, spec homes, lots and community features to prospective clients and realtors. • Ensure proper model and spec home appearance for best client experience including availability of marketing materials and refreshments. • Participate in community marketing including local events, developer events and local sales organizations. • Serve as trusted advisor/primary point of contact for home buyer from initial meeting through home closing. • Generate excitement by effectively identifying needs of potential home buyers and matching related solutions. • Comparatively shop products of competitors and visit similar communities in the area. • Prospect and visit realtors. • Participate in biweekly division meetings. • Maintain buyer interest by effectively using listening and negotiating skills when confronted with objections, skepticism, conflict, etc. and counter with specific alternatives. • Serve as a liaison between all parties involved in the sale including buyer, construction team, design center, main office support staff, lender and title company. • Attend Buyer Builder Conference and Pre-Closing Walk-Through events. Show/walk lots and homes under construction with customers under contract. • Community management to include driving/walking through community to check on appearance, signage, and maintenance status of homes. • Visit homes under construction to check on status. • Meet with construction personnel regarding issues and home status. • Responsible for driving additional traffic to yourself through Realtor relations and social media efforts. Job Qualifications: • Four (4) year degree from an accredited college or university preferred • High school graduation or equivalency required • Valid driver's license and insurance required for business travel • 3-5 years of residential home sales experience strongly preferred • Home building industry experience required • Computer literacy, proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ability to learn new programs as needed • Must be able to use word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, presentation, and database software for advanced internal and external communications, creation of reports and presentations and database maintenance • Knowledge of business English and ability to communicate patiently and professionally with both internal and external customers orally and in writing • Ability to multi-task and prioritize several tasks without compromising quality of work or mission deadlines • Knowledge of sales processes and procedures required Job Type: Full-time Benefits: • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Experience: • Sales: 2 years (Preferred) Ability to Commute: • Austin, TX 78730 (Required) Ability to Relocate: • Austin, TX 78730: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
