Sales Associate

Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting them with their shopping needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail and a strong ability to engage with customers, ensuring they have a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities • Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. • Process transactions accurately using the cash register and point-of-sale (POS) systems. • Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom areas. • Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products, promotions, and store policies. • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction. Skills • Proficient in basic math skills, including retail math for pricing and inventory management. • Strong ability to sell products effectively while understanding customer needs. • Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in a grocery store environment. • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
