Sales Associate

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to engage with customers in a grocery store environment. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a key role in providing an exceptional shopping experience, assisting customers with their needs, and promoting our products through effective upselling techniques. Duties • Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns promptly. • Demonstrate product knowledge through engaging product demos to enhance customer experience. • Utilize POS systems and cash registers accurately to process transactions efficiently. • Upsell products by suggesting complementary items based on customer preferences. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and product displays. • Handle returns and exchanges following store policies while ensuring customer satisfaction. • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance. Requirements • Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in a grocery store setting. • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers. • Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to better serve our community. • Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is preferred. • Ability to perform product demos and effectively upsell items to customers. • Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new skills.
