Duties • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their shopping needs. • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. • Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits, promoting upselling opportunities. • Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product offerings to effectively communicate with customers. • Assist in restocking shelves and organizing merchandise to create an appealing shopping environment. • Utilize basic math skills for transactions and inventory management, including retail math calculations as needed. • Answer customer inquiries over the phone with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall store performance. Requirements • Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not mandatory. • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. • Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions and inventory tasks. • Experience with cash handling procedures is a plus. • Ability to perform product demos and upsell products confidently. • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team are essential traits for success in this role.
