Job description Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and the ability to effectively communicate with customers and the ability to create new leads. As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming shopping experience, assisting customers with their needs, and promoting our products. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work reaching out daily. This position requires the achievement of sales goals to obtain commission. Saturday availability is a must. Responsibilities • Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. • Provide in home services when required. • Utilize effective phone etiquette when handling reach out, customer inquiries and orders. • Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. • Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to provide accurate information to customers. • Handle transactions accurately using basic math skills. • Supervise junior staff when necessary, ensuring adherence to store protocols and excellent customer service standards. • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stock areas. • Support team efforts by collaborating with colleagues to achieve sales goals. Experience • Previous experience in a retail or furniture sales environment is preferred but not required. • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers. • Interior design background is preferred but not required. • Previous experience in sales is preferred.
