Our New York City gallery is a destination where design, culture, and craftsmanship converge. We are seeking a dynamicSales Consultantwho is as passionate about people as they are about beautiful objects.
The Role
As a Sales Consultant at K’ab Juun, you’ll be the face of our gallery, welcoming clients, telling stories of craftsmanship and heritage, and turning inspiration into sales. You’ll cultivate lasting client relationships, partner with the design trade, and consistently drive business growth. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on sales, loves engaging with clients, and finds joy in connecting people with art and design.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Sales
• Deliver a warm, personalized client experience in-gallery and online.
• Share compelling product stories, highlighting craftsmanship, cultural significance, and exclusivity.
• Guide clients through design solutions, custom furniture orders, and curated art selections.
• Cultivate loyal relationships with collectors, interior designers, and architects through follow-up and tailored service.
• Prospect and host in-gallery or on-site presentations for the design trade.
• Schedule and lead educational sessions for architects and designers.
• Consistently achieve and exceed sales goals through strong closing skills, product knowledge, and proactive outreach.
Gallery Operations
• Open and close the gallery, including cash handling and reconciliation.
• Maintain flawless presentation standards to ensure a visually inspiring client experience.
• Process, package, and prepare online orders with care and accuracy.
• Resolve client issues with professionalism and independence.
• Support administrative tasks and communicate operational needs to management promptly.

• Comfortable engaging with trade professionals (designers, architects, collectors).
• Strong follow-up, clienteling, and relationship-building skills.
• Organized, adaptable, and able to manage both sales and operational duties.
• Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement.

You bring:
• 2–4 years’ proven sales experience in luxury furniture, lighting, fine art, or jewelry
• A history of hitting and exceeding sales targets
• Strong closing skills and the ability to convert interest into purchase
• Confidence in selling high-ticket items and working with designers, architects, and collectors
• A polished, professional presence and genuine passion for design
• Interior design knowledge (formal or on-the-job) a plus
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft suite of programs (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and knowledge of CRM systems
Preferred but not required:
• Existing book of collectors or design trade contacts
• Familiarity with Mexican contemporary design and heritage
• Spanish Speaking
