The HarperCollins Christian Publishing (HCCP) and HarperCollins Focus (HCF) Export department is looking for a highly organized, energetic, multi-task-oriented self-starter to fill the role of Sales Coordinator. The Export team has a global reach serving over 800 customers annually in 85+ countries. The Sales Coordinator will provide operational and account support for the export sales team and all international accounts.

Responsibilities

Support duties include but are not limited to:

Sales Support

  • Processes
    • International Trade Paper Edition (ITPE) set up, tracking, and communication to internal and external partners
    • Local print program
    • Drop Ship process
    • UK data and title setup and maintenance in 360 Tool and Horizon.
    • Monthly title newsletter for Thomas Nelson (TN), HarperCollins Focus (HCF), and Zondervan (Z) with titles releasing in the next month (3 newsletters in total)
    • Digital Review Copy process
  • Reporting
    • Set up and distribute daily, monthly, and quarterly reports to customers and sales reps. Collate and forward internal announcements and reports to our colleagues at Harper Canada, UK, Australia, and India as well as to key global distribution partners.
    • Provide customer ad hoc reports, titles lists, etc.
  • General
    • Act as first point of contact for new accounts, key contact for existing accounts, and for accounts while reps are in the field.
  • Trade Show Support
    • Work with organizers to organize booth space, samples, meeting schedules, etc. for International Trade Fairs.

Qualifications

Work Experience:

  • 1 - 3 years of prior experience in administrative support roles required. Sales support is preferred.

Education:

  • B.A. or equivalent work required

Industry Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with the publishing industry is highly desired. Experience supporting international accounts in any way preferred.

Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is highly desired
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong project organizational skills
  • Ability to sell concepts and ideas
