Sales Data Analyst

Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Sales Analyst to support our Sales, Marketing, and Network Development teams through advanced data analytics. This position blends traditional data analyst responsibilities with sales-specific analysis functions, including RFP data preparation, market evaluation, and network adequacy reporting. The ideal candidate will use strong SQL and Python skills to analyze, interpret, and visualize data, contributing to strategic decisions across multiple departments. Key Responsibilities Core Data Analytics Duties • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from internal and external sources. • Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate trends and findings. • Support data-driven decision-making by providing actionable insights to stakeholders. • Maintain accuracy and integrity of data used across reporting platforms. • Develop models for forecasting, risk assessment, and performance tracking. Sales & Market Intelligence Duties • Prepare data sets and reports for RFP responses, ensuring alignment with client and regulatory requirements. • Conduct market analysis including admission patterns, competitive assessments, and referral behavior. • Perform geocode analysis to support network adequacy compliance and service accessibility evaluations. • Deliver disruption analysis that highlights network/provider changes and their operational impact. • Evaluate product lines via performance and pricing analysis to inform strategy and development. • Maintain and report on KPIs and benchmarking metrics related to sales and network performance. • Conduct trend analysis and develop forecasts to inform growth strategy and resource allocation. Required Education: • Bachelor’s degree in data science, business analytics, healthcare administration, or a related field. Preferred Education: • Advanced degree in data science, business analytics, healthcare administration, or a related field. Required Experience: • 3+ years of experience in a data analyst, business analyst, or sales analyst role. • Experience working in the healthcare or managed care industry. • Proven track record of analyzing complex data sets to identify trends and insights. Required Skills and Abilities: • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis. • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong analytical thinking skills to identify trends, anomalies, and insights from complex data sets. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into executive-level presentations. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
