Sales Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Santa Clara, CA. The Sales Manager will drive direct sales and provide inside sales support. This role will focus on managing business and customer development within a defined geographical region, primarily centered on the sales of JPT’s laser products, including CW Fiber Lasers, MOPA Fiber Lasers, DPSS Lasers, and Semiconductor Lasers, among others. Parent company: https://en.jptoe.com/ , https://www.hipaphotonics.com/ Key Responsibilities: ·Direct Sales:Actively engage in the sales process to meet and exceed sales targets for JPT’s laser products. Collaborate with the JPT Sales force. Promote and sell JPT products at designated trade shows and events. Assist in hosting customer demonstrations. Help with in-house duties as necessary, including shipping, receiving, accounting, spare parts inventory, and related office tasks. ·Sales and Customer Development:Develop and sustain the sales business according to the assigned budget. Manage and cultivate business relationships and market information within a defined geographical region. ·Inside Sales Support:Provide technical support as needed to achieve sales goals. Prepare detailed sales and activity business reports after each customer visit. Cooperate with other JPT departments. ·Prospecting and Qualification:Identify and qualify new sales opportunities by prospecting customers and conducting market research. Prepare detailed short-term and long-term sales forecasts, and report on competitors' activities and new market potentials in other regions. Qualifications: · Applicants with a background in laser manufacturing or the photonics industry are preferred. Two years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related business would be beneficial. · Understanding laser products and technologies, especially CW Fiber Lasers, MOPA Fiber Lasers, DPSS Lasers, and Semiconductor Lasers, is preferred. · Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. · The ability to establish and sustain strong customer relationships. · Strong organizational and time-management skills. Education: A college or university degree in Business, Marketing, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Optics, or a related field of education and experience would provide a strong argument. An MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.
