RESPONSIBILITIES • Sales Team Leadership and Development: • Directly manage and coach a high-performing sales force, fostering a culture of accountability, achievement, and continuous improvement. • Set clear monthly and annual sales objectives, establish actionable sales plans, and regularly monitor and measure performance against set targets. • Participate with sales team individuals in customer meetings, providing thought leadership and customer relationship building. • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team. • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, ensuring the team is equipped with the latest tools and techniques. • Oversee the hiring and training of new sales executives. • New Business Development: • Develop and implement strategies to identify, pursue, and secure net-new business opportunities within target industries. • Conduct market analyses and further build a robust pipeline of qualified prospects. • Ensure proactive and strategic engagement across multiple channels with potential new customers. • Support business development team members on outbound prospecting efforts through the use of various tech platforms and outbound calling. • Customer Expansion: • Oversee strategic account planning and management processes to deepen relationships and increase revenue within existing accounts. • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, operations, and project management) to provide exceptional service and innovative solutions to customers. • Strategic Planning and Execution: • Develop comprehensive annual and quarterly sales plans aligned with corporate goals. • Identify growth trends and market dynamics, adjusting strategies accordingly to maximize revenue. • Reporting and Analysis: • Prepare detailed sales forecasts, monitor performance, and present regular reports to senior leadership. • Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for performance improvements and market penetration. QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum of 5-7 years of successful sales management experience • Proven track record of leading an outside sales team focused on new business development and account expansion. • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. • Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities. • Proficient in CRM software and sales performance analysis tools. • Familiarity with advanced sales techniques and methodologies, including consultative selling and solution-based sales. • Experience within commercial printing, marketing services, or related B2B industries. • Established network of contacts within relevant target markets. • Demonstrated ability to foster long-term strategic partnerships. • Familiarity with AI-driven sales platforms and data analytics tools, with an openness to integrating these technologies to enhance sales strategies and performance. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
