The Sales & Market development Manager plays a critical role in driving sales growth and revenue generation for the company within a designated geographic region. Responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing sales representatives and Clinical Support Specialists and building strong relationships with key stakeholders to achieve sales targets and expand market share.

Duties and responsibilities
Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and tactics to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue growth within the assigned region.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, and utilize findings to inform sales strategies and product positioning.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including hospitals, clinics, healthcare providers, distributors, and key opinion leaders (KOLs), to drive customer loyalty and satisfaction.
New Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities for new business development, including expansion into untapped markets, new customer segments, and strategic partnerships, to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
Product Promotion and Education: Plan and execute promotional activities, product demonstrations, and educational events to increase awareness and adoption of the company's medical devices among healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and terms of sale with customers and distributors to ensure profitability, compliance with company policies, and customer satisfaction.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies in all sales activities, documentation, and interactions with customers and stakeholders.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical device sales and market development, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of the medical device industry, market dynamics, and regulatory environment.
- Management of clinical sales team – an advantage
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel within the assigned region and occasionally nationally or internationally as required.
- Very high Proficiency in English and French
This role includes traveling up to 50% of the time within France, 10-20% outside France
