About the Opportunity

ClearGov is looking for a Sales Operations Manager with a zeal to win, a kind heart, an unwavering team spirit, a positive attitude and a great sense of humor to join our rapidly growing team. The Sales Operations Manager will be charged with reducing friction in the sales process, so AEs and SDRs can optimize their day-to-day activities. The successful candidate will take ownership of developing and overseeing a smooth, effective sales process to enable and facilitate the continued rapid growth of ClearGov’s sales organization. You will have an excellent Salesforce functional and technical skillset, ability to prioritize multiple work streams, communicate well with key stakeholders, execute in a fast-paced environment, drive toward simple solutions to complex problems and be eager to learn. You will be a key player on an incredible team as we execute our mission to help local governments become more efficient.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operationalize, standardize, track and optimize Sales team processes.
  • Optimize sales and operational efficiency through innovative thinking, process improvement, system enhancements and best practice sharing.
  • Partner with internal business organizations (Marketing, Sales, Client Success, etc.) to evaluate business KPIs, including cohort analysis, that ultimately drive data-driven decisions.
  • Partner with sales managers and marketing to optimize lead qualification process, analyze and report on campaign/cadence performance with reporting and dashboards.
  • Understand existing Sales tech stack and managed package integrations - especially SalesLoft - with Salesforce CRM and provide recommendations on improvements.
  • Design, test, implement and standardize system Dashboards, Reports, Page Layouts, Processes and Workflows - including ad hoc reports - in Salesforce CRM and analytics tools to support Sales processes.
  • Document and implement best practices on maintaining, developing and extending the use of Salesforce CRM.
  • Maintain process and data integrity within Salesforce.com as well as manage the import and export of data from various sources to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Provide ad hoc training to Salesforce CRM users to help expand knowledge and adoption of Salesforce’s capabilities.
  • Support Sales teams with operational requests, including setting up and maintaining account lists, account transfer, activity tracking, creating and updating dashboard, and target account list creation.
  • Design and provide structure for Sales demonstration environments.
  • Contribute in developing the forecasts, key metrics, dashboards and reports which help drive day to day business.
  • Assist in executing the Sales GTM strategy, including quota alignment and territory planning.
  • Create Quarterly Business Review recaps to support Sales needs and present internally.
 
 

Requirements

Critical Skills/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems or related field
  • 5+ years of Sales Operations experience (SaaS exposure is a big plus)
  • 3+ years of Salesforce.com System Administration experience, with strong knowledge of Sales, Service and Marketing Clouds and preferably with knowledge of Lightning Experience.
    • Proven experience with Salesforce.com configuration (Security, Workflow, Process Builder, Formulas, Custom Objects/Fields, Assignment Rules, Reporting, etc.).
    • Proven experience with Salesforce.com integrations - especially SalesLoft - and data management tools.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite, especially Excel (Pivot tables, VLookups, etc.), including data modeling
  • Highly analytical and process oriented.
  • Able to both think strategically and execute tactically to drive results.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with internal and external working partners.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks
  • Excellent attention to details and strong ability to produce high quality reports and presentations!
