Sales Planning Specialist β no sales β advanced Excel
An international food manufacturer is seeking a Sales Planning Specialist who has great Excel skills (Power Query and Power Pivot, VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, SUMIF, graph), Sales support, and market data analyst skills. BI (Business Intelligence) tools such as Tableau is preferred. Will train if no prior experience in Sales support if strong in Excel.
This position is a Hybrid position.

Purpose of the Position:Creating and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth. Work closely with the sales team to identify any bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the sales process and workflow. Provide support by generating sales reports/ dashboards that provide valuable insights to the sales team.
Principal Tasks (not limited to and subject to change):
β’ Enhance Corporate Governance: Prepare supporting documentation for sales and expense transactions to facilitate audits.
β’ Strengthen Internal Controls: Redesign and implement rules and workflows to improve internal control processes within Sales HQ.
β’ Operational Review and Improvement: Evaluate and enhance operational efficiency within Sales HQ.
β’ Accelerate Sales Growth: Identify and implement strategies to drive sales growth.
β’ Sales Reporting: Create and distribute saved searches and reports related to sales activities.
β’ Dashboard Development: Design and develop sales-related dashboards for performance monitoring on Tableau.
β’ Kintone Application Management: Develop and update Apps on Kintone (a cloud platform) to support sales operations.
β’ Budget Preparation Assistance: Assist in the preparation of sales and expense budgets and related reports. (on Tableau and NetSuite)
β’ Market Data Analysis: Conduct SPINS market data analysis and generate reports for strategic insights.
β’ Promotion Approval Process: Technical error check on sales repβs promotion entries.
β’ Lead to Customer Support: Assist the sales team throughout the lead-to-customer process.
β’ Technical Support: Offer technical assistance to Sales HQ as needed.
Requirement:
Β· Associate Degree or related experience is a must
Β· Five years of experience in sales operations/ planning/ support or data handling positions is preferred.
Β· Will train if no prior sales planning experience if strong in Excel skills.
Β· Computer skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams) is required. Advanced skills in Excel, including Power Query and Power Pivot, for efficient data management and manipulation are highly desirable. β will have a test at the interview for 20-30min
Β· Experience with Tableau or other BI tools is preferred.
Β· Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite is a plus.
Β· Experience with AI tools such as Copilot or ChatGPT is an advantage.
Β· Excellent communication skills, able to respond promptly. Able to balance team and individual responsibilities. Able to set goals and objectives.
Β· Capability to conduct thorough research to gather information and support various projects or initiatives.
Β· Able to lift at least 15 lbs.
