Job Overview
The primary responsibility of Sales, Project Management is to plan and coordinate on all details involved in making the finished product reorders. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, including but not limited to, quality and on-time delivery.
· Support customers with management of their orders from the initiation PO to shipping the finished goods.
· Monitor open reorders with systematic updates for visibility to all internal departments.
· Manage and update internal teams on ETA’s of Consigned Materials systematically.
· Serve as a focal point for inquiries and information on production planning and customer service delivery issues.
· Review, publish, and follow-up on documents associated with manufacturing of a product, which includes issuing part numbers, creating/revising Bills of Material, managing customer Purchase orders, and issuing product sales orders.
· Manage customer visits coordinating participation by other teams.
· Participate in meetings discussing order updates, shop floor scheduling, and current issues regarding shipping, receiving, and related areas.
· Manage the entire product lifecycle-updating BOM’s with new artwork, managing the phase out of old packaging and communicating liabilities on old/unused materials. Work to get approval to dispose or return.
· Provide basic reporting on inventory levels, sales order status and overall customer satisfaction.
· Work closely with New Business Development and Finance group confirming and maintaining pricing for on-going products.
· Deliver on time reporting of forecast and projections of ongoing business.
· Work with planning team to expedite schedules where necessary and provide revised basic production planning information to customers.
· Problem solve and handle exceptions. Inform supply chain team of changes to customer requirements as necessary.
· Issue delivery requests to our shipping group, and assist with any coordination between company shipping, Customer and 3pLogistics groups.
· Support AR team to ensure customers follow agreed to terms for payment of invoices.
· For any PO cancellations / delays of reorders, work with internal teams to gather details allowing you to issue liability details to customers in timely manner and support quick resolution.
Requirements
· Strong Project Management Skills required.
· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
· Knowledge of MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint
· Ability to set objectives.
· Knowledge of total manufacturing processes and planning.
· Ability to identify, evaluate, and resolve issues.
· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others.
· Ability to apply required policies and procedures.
· Detail oriented and be able to multi task.
· Ability to work in a team environment and work independently.
· Knowledge of SAP functions (preferred but not required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
