Reagan Outdoor Advertising is a leading outdoor advertising company located in Austin, Texas that is experiencing tremendous growth. We are looking for a detail oriented, research and database guru. You’ll be an integral part of our dynamic team and help us reach new heights.
You’ll handle development of presentations, proposals, reports, one sheets, and research pieces that will assist in the selling process. Keep current on industry news and share in sales meetings. Stay in touch with market conditions that can affect the economy, growth of the market, our clients, and sales in general. Utilize the existing sales tools in implementing new uses that will facilitate the sales process. Responsible for initiating and executing all aspects of primary market research projects that support advertising sales and marketing. Will maintain quantitative and qualitative research about Outdoor Advertising content to support sales initiatives.
The ideal candidate is assertive, creative and resourceful and must enjoy working in a highly entrepreneurial environment. The successful candidate will work with sales management and account executives to identify and provide solutions to client marketing needs. Prior Advertising Agency Media related experience or similar role for other media outlets is preferred. This position requires outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
• Have a comprehensive working knowledge of sales research tools including Scarborough Prime Lingo, Media Monitors or Kantar
• Facilitate training of sales & support staff on all available sales tools.
• Deep knowledge of how advertising works, specifically how targeted advertising can grow a client’s sales bottom line
• Ability to aggregate data and logically present it to support strategic, data driven advertising recommendations
• Ability to learn new software and become an “expert” on the team.
• Experience in developing schedules and proposals using media databases is very helpful
• Utilize software to create competitive pieces to assist sales staff in selling against competitive media, including TV & Radio
• Curious and continuously seeks knowledge to stay current with industry trends
• Understands consumer research and demonstrates the ability to analyze, synthesize and communicate it to sales staff and their clients
• Ability to evaluate and understand the competitive landscape in the marketplace
• Strong relationship building and customer service skills
• Self-starter with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of media sales
• Demonstrated presentation skills to large and small groups – internal and client-facing
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Strong time management, prioritization, and organization skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

• Works well within a team and individually.
• Previous experience in Research in OOH, TV or Radio required with a track record of helping organizations meet revenue goals.
• Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2 years’ experience required in advertising media research, planning or support.
