Responsibilities
The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for supporting sales efforts with a focus on the management, enrichment, and accuracy of data in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (Salesforce) eco-system. This position will work closely with sales teams and Client Success Managers to support the data management of account, contact, leads, and opportunity (or all objects) records in Salesforce and laisse with relevant stakeholders to improve both the quality of records and the velocity of opportunities in early-stage, accelerating revenue capture.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain client records: Enrich the account, contact, lead, and opportunity objects in the CRM with accurate data including client contacts, phone, email records, cross-sell and up-sell leads and opportunities information, etc.
- Handle basic administrative functions including standard configuration setup, reports, dashboards, new users and other routine tasks.
- Recommend system enhancements beneficial to current application, bug fixes and overall user experience improvements.
- Opportunity management: Support sales processes to aid teams in opportunity management. Ensure records are up to date and complete to aid in the review and advancement of early-stage opportunities.
- Grow the business: Work with Client Success Managers to identify opportunities for growth within existing client accounts, promoting the firm's products or services to help clients achieve even greater success.
- Support data imports/exports files and feeds from existing/new integrations and/or the business.
- Provide day to day user support and assist users with best practices to improve and increase their knowledge of Salesforce.
- Revenue forecasting: Support partners and practice leaders to improve data quality and accuracy of revenue commitments and client revenue forecasting.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-3 years' experience in analytics, sales operations, finance, or comparative field.
- Minimum expectation of a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent education/experience.
- 1-2 years of CRM experience, specifically Salesforce, with an understanding of best practices and functionality.
- Strong reporting background using standard reporting tools and dashboards.
- Proficient in standard office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain data integrity, consistency, and quality in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have strong communication skills, sense of urgency, and willingness to take initiative.
- Good attitude toward teamwork as well as the ability to work independently.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
