Aleysian headquartered in Chicago is a dynamic and innovative digital transformation consulting firm specializing in Salesforce and eCommerce solutions for the public sector and higher education. We are seeking an experienced and driven Salesforce B2B Commerce Architect to join our growing team!

Aleysian is seeking a dynamic and experienced Salesforce Commerce Architect to serve as a strategic advisor to our clients and deliver tailored. This role is a blend of business acumen and technical expertise focused on creating innovative solutions for merchants across Health & Life Sciences Manufacturing & Distribution and High-Tech industries.

As our Salesforce Commerce Architect you will need to have extensive knowledge of the Salesforce B2B/D2C Commerce and be able to architect multi-cloud solutions on the Salesforce platform. You will collaborate with our clients business and IT leaders to align technology initiatives with strategic business objectives for B2B/D2C Commerce projects. You will be instrumental in developing and communicating detailed technology architecture and implementation strategies leading teams to deliver high-quality digital commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support sales efforts in new business development including RFP responses architecture assessments and technical qualifications.

• Lead eCommerce implementations using Salesforce Commerce B2B providing both oversight and hands-on contributions to software design development and integration.

• Independently lead project estimation efforts.

• Participate in the development of conceptual and logical architectures.

• Lead the gathering of business and technical requirements to create comprehensive and scalable solutions.

• Design develop and maintain application architectures that support client business requirements.

• Assist project leadership in conducting project risk identification and mitigation planning.

• Resolve integration and interfacing issues between various back-end systems.

• Optimize application performance and scalability.

• Develop Points of View (POVs) and other content for publishing and sharing with partners and clients.

• Lead technology and architecture discussions with clients.

• Develop and share best practices for the designated Solution Platform.

Desired Skills:

• Ability to articulate Solution Architecture for B2B Commerce its role within Enterprise Architecture and its contribution to end-to-end workflows.

• Deep understanding of the Commerce domain particularly B2B/D2C Commerce and its unique aspects compared to B2C Commerce.

• Comprehensive knowledge of B2B Commerce processes and capabilities.

• Strong understanding of Commerce interactions and integrations across domains such as Service OMS ERP/Fulfillment Fraud Payment Tax Loyalty and Subscriptions.

• Clear understanding of the difference between Commerce frontend and backend including responsive UI/UX.

• Expertise in Salesforce B2B Commerce and SF Experience Cloud including their capabilities limitations configuration options customization requirements and effort/timeline estimation.

• Proficiency in Salesforce B2B Commerce SF Experience Cloud SF-CMS and SF Platform including the SF data model configuration customization integration setup flow creation UI development/modification and data migration/loading.

• Strong knowledge of SF Core technology skills: Apex Lightning Web Components database/objects SOQL JavaScript HTML CSS and data loader tools.

• Experience with development tools such as Visual Studio Code and writing test/automation scripts for data load/manipulation.

• Ability to recommend best practices for designing Commerce solutions including steps to optimize site performance.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Salesforce application architecture and software development.

• 3+ years of experience developing on the Salesforce Commerce B2B and Community Cloud platforms.

• 2+ years of experience working on the Salesforce Lightning platform.

• Salesforce Application Architect or Technical Architect Certification is required.

Competitive Salary: Compensation for this role is anticipated to be between $100000 and $150000 annually. The exact compensation offered may vary depending on the individual's background experience location and alignment with the needs of the position.
