Salesforce Developer (Salesforce Field Service)

JOB DESCRIPTION
The certified Salesforce Developer is responsible for developing, integrating and maintaining UL Solutions Salesforce instances as directed. You will work with a global team to ensure we embrace configuration over customization where possible. This is an excellent opportunity to serve as the Salesforce Developer in a Global Enterprise Salesforce environment working primarily on Salesforce Field Service that is part of a more extensive global CRM, Field Service and Enterprise Data Management program. You will work closely with IT Salesforce Field Service and Enterprise Delivery Leadership to support and deliver for our global users in our Global Enterprise Salesforce instance.

• Serve as the hands-on developer for small to large scale initiatives for multiple Salesforce instances, integrations and related applications through the design, development, testing and implementation phases
• Develop new and support existing Apex (classes and triggers) and Visualforce to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements
• Custom User Interface development, including Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Aura Components and Lightning Web Components
• Work with other IT teams to integrate Salesforce with key applications
• Maintain and demonstrate 100% compliance with all written security policies, procedures, and change management controls
• Write technical design documents and perform code reviews.
• Provide training and assistance to team as necessary, we are a smart, growing global team
• Provide technical assistance and end user troubleshooting for bug fixes and enhancements

QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline plus generally 2-4 years of directly related experience.
• Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I, and Platform App Builder Certifications required.
• Salesforce Sales, Service, Field Service , Community (Experience) Cloud Consultant Certifications preferred.
• Proficiency in and experience with Apex, Lightning, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Java, JavaScript, SOQL/SOSL, managing/creating flows, validation rules, application lifecycle management, object-oriented programming, system integration, ETL tools and services
• Experience developing across multiple systems, including Salesforce Field Service, Sales, Service, Commerce, Experience Clouds; system integration, data strategy, and reporting services.
• Strong organizational, communication and writing skills
• Agile project management experience preferred
• Ability to thrive in a matrixed environment, adjust to changing priorities, and participate in multiple projects.
• Experience with Copado, Einstein Analytics/Tableau, Azure DevOps preferred
• Understanding of Version Control Systems like Git preferred
• Basic understanding of operating in a controlled environment with strong change management practices

What we offer:
Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated salary range for this position is $79,200 to $105,600 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 10% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
