Duties
• Perform construction estimating to assess project costs and resources needed.
• Apply color theory principles to select appropriate paint colors and finishes for projects.
• Execute residential and commercial painting tasks, ensuring high standards of quality.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks, including caulking, plastering, and trim carpentry.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and renovation plans to understand project requirements.
• Engage in construction site activities with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Conduct maintenance tasks as needed, including fixture installation and restoration work.
• Participate in remodeling projects that may involve frame carpentry, masonry, or concrete finishing.
• Demonstrate proficiency in airless paint spraying techniques for efficient application.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in construction painting, residential painting, or commercial painting is preferred.
• Familiarity with construction site practices and safety protocols is essential.
• Strong skills in basic math to assist with measurements and calculations related to projects.
• Experience with maintenance person tasks is a plus, showcasing versatility in various maintenance roles.
• Knowledge of plastering techniques, stucco application, and restoration processes is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to achieve project goals.
