SAP Analytics Cloud Planning and Reporting Consultant

SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Planning and Reporting Consultant (trainee, junior, or senior)

We are looking for a consultant to help create planning and analytic solutions for our governmental clients, leveraging SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). If you don't have experience with SAC, we're willing to train the right candidate. If you have a stronger background, we can bring you on at an advanced level.  As a team-oriented company, our consultants mentor each other and share knowledge to deliver solutions together to our client.

As an SAC Consultant you'll assist, manage, or lead in:

• Analyzing client needs and systems; gathering and documenting business and technical requirements
• Designing, building, testing and deploying web-based solutions to end-users.

• Do you have accounting or finance experience and enjoy working with clients to solve their challenges, create plans, budgets, forecasts and analyses?
• Are you adept at Excel/Sheets-type tools, pivot tables, or multidimensional databases and like to create solutions with them?
• Do you like to work with a supportive cohesive team, while being able to work independently remotely?

Requirements:

• Understanding and applying basic managerial accounting concepts within an organization for analysis, reporting, budgeting, or planning
• Adept at Excel/Sheets-type tools and building logical formulas
• Self-management and organizational skills 
• Ability to work well in a team 
• Effective written and oral communications, preferably to both business and technical audiences 
• Documenting and editing in MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• Exhibit high attention to detail and analytical skills 
• Ability to relate to client needs and innovate through solutions on a business and technical level 
• Presentation skills a plus
• Accounting and/or Finance coursework from an accredited college or university  
• Accounting or Finance degree preferred
• Significant work experience may substitute
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• MBA and/or CPA is a plus
• Ability to obtain government clearance 
• Ability to travel on occasion to client sites

Preferred Requirements:

• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) planning experience strongly preferred,
• Data integration, Extract Transform Load (ETL)/data wrangling
• Building data models, dimensions, hierarchies, attributes/properties
• Creating planning input schedules, reports, dashboards, data visualizations, graphs,
• Calculations, logic, business rules, SQL script, stored procedures, data actions/data manager packages 
• Testing, quality assurance, documentation, end-user training 
• Other similar Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), Corporate Performance Management (CPM), eXtended Planning and Analysis (xP&A) tools such as SAP Business Planning and Consolidations (BPC), OneStream, Board, Anaplan, Workday’s Adaptive Insights Planning, Oracle Hyperion, Oracle Fusion Cloud, Cognos, TM1, Prophix, Planful, Jedox, Centage, Vena, Wolters Klewer Tagetic, provide an advantage for training
• Hands-on solution building experience, including:  
• JavaScript development experience is a plus 
• Database, RDBMS, experience is a plus
