SAP Application Specialist – Sourcing and Procurement

Government & Defence (G&D) provides specialised logistics expertise, including relocation services. We manage and deliver a range of services on behalf of the Australian Department of Home Affairs in order to support Refugee and Humanitarian Visa applicants with the medical assessment process and subsequent travel to Australia.

The Role

Our Toll G&D are seeking for experienced and customer-focused SAP Application Specialist – Sourcing and Procurement to join our dynamic IT team. You will be accountable for internal project delivery and application support of Toll G&D’s S/4HANA system, specialising in SD and MM modules.

To be successful as a SAP Application Specialist – Sourcing and Procurement you will need to:

• Resolve incidents and service requests raised by system users
• Participate in solution design and delivery of projects
• Change requests for system configuration, continuous improvements and enhancements
• Update business processes and system design during deployment of change requests
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for system workflows, reports, interfaces, conversion, enhancements and forms (WRICEFS)
• Reviewing and deploying support packs and version upgrades
• Manage data collection, mapping, conversion and migration
• Analyse financial data to provide business insights
• Propose solutions and strategies to address business challenges
• Collaborate across SAP, development and engineering teams and business stakeholders to ensure customer requirements and business impacts are considered when considering system changes
• Conduct system troubleshooting, unit, system integration and regression testing
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing and Pre-Production Testing
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that customer and business impact is considered while delivering all projects or programmes of work.
• Comply with all Toll policies and procedures, including project management, risk management and security.

About You:

• 5+ years of experience in SAP SD and MM modules, previous experience working with S/4HANA
• Strong system design, configuration and business analysis skills
• Good communication skills with all levels of the IT and business organisation
• Experience in both a support & project environment.
• Ability to work closely with business stakeholders, internal IT teams and external vendors
• Motivated and proactive in problem-solving and innovative in process improvement
• Good understanding of sales and management reporting in Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash
• Understanding of operational expectations from data analysis
• Ability to anticipate issues, escalations and mitigate proactively
