Your Role and Responsibilities

As an Application Architect – SAP HANA Analytics Consultant you will be responsible for designing implementing and optimizing SAP HANA Analytics solutions to meet our clients’ specific business needs. You will work closely with clients project managers and development teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality scalable and performance-driven solutions.Key Responsibilities:

1. Solution Architecture: Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into SAP HANA Analytics solutions. Design end-to-end architectures that align with best practices and industry standards.
2. Technical Expertise: Provide expert guidance on SAP HANA Analytics technologies and tools. Stay updated on the latest SAP HANA developments and recommend innovative solutions to improve performance and functionality.
3. Implementation: Lead and oversee the implementation of SAP HANA Analytics solutions including data modeling data provisioning reporting and dashboard development.
4. Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in SAP HANA Analytics applications. Implement best practices for data optimization and ensure efficient data processing.
5. Integration: Integrate SAP HANA Analytics solutions with other systems and applications ensuring seamless data flow and real-time insights.
6. Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation including solution architecture diagrams design specifications and user guides.
7. Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their feedback and requirements providing exceptional customer service and maintaining strong client relationships.
8. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers developers and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
9. Training and Knowledge Transfer: Conduct training sessions and workshops for client teams to ensure they can effectively use and maintain SAP HANA Analytics solutions.

Qualifications:

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Relevant SAP certifications are a plus.

Must be located on-site at IBM office in Bedford NS or Calgary Alberta

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
BOBJ:

• Hands on experience with Universe Design Tool Information Design Tool Web Intelligence Crystal Reports
• Strong experience with Scheduling Publications
• Good experience with CMC (Instance Manager User Security)
• Should be able to Troubleshoot complex issues
• Experience with BO versions 4.2 and preferred 4.3
• Experience with data sources BW HANA SQL Server
• Should be able to work with different technical and functional teams business users
• Should have experienced in all phases of SDLC (ex: Unit / Integration Testing FUT Production Cutover and Hypercare).
• Hands on experience with Power BI strongly preferred
• Good to have experience/knowledge in Qliksense SQL HANA modeling BW

BW.HANA:

• Must have good understanding and hands on experience in BW modelling (ex: extraction transformation and loading).
• Should have working knowledge in BW/HANA (ex: creation of HANA Views etc) Bex reporting (ex: creation of RKF CKF fomulae exits)
• BW/ABAP enhancements (ex: start/end/field other routines data source creation/enhancements and user exits) build and design.
• Should have involved in all phases of SDLC along with support experience.
• Nice to have functional knowledge and BOBJ knowledge.
