In this role you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Defense & Security Lead Consultant to join our team. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise deep understanding of defense sector operations and exceptional interpersonal skills to lead the implementation and optimization of SAP solutions tailored to meet the stringent needs of defense and security clients.
Responsibilities:

Requirement Analysis : Work closely with clients to thoroughly understand their unique software needs and business processes. Challenge and validate requirements to ensure the solutions align with client objectives and industry best practices.

Solution Design and Customization : Lead the design customization and implementation of SAP Defense & Security modules (e.g. MIL IS-M IS-D&S). Leverage your technical acumen to configure and integrate these modules to meet complex defense and security requirements.

Project Management : Oversee the execution of SAP projects ensuring they are delivered on time within budget and to high quality standards. Manage project risks develop project plans and coordinate resources effectively.

System Testing : Direct and execute comprehensive testing strategies including unit testing integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT). Ensure that the implemented solutions meet functional performance and security requirements.

Bug Resolution : Serve as the primary contact point with SAP AG for resolving critical bugs and issues leveraging your technical expertise to navigate complex SAP landscapes and expedite resolutions.

Training and Documentation : Develop and deliver tailored training programs for end-users ensuring they are equipped to leverage the full potential of the implemented SAP solutions. Create detailed documentation for system configurations processes and maintenance procedures.

Stakeholder Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with clients acting as their trusted advisor and ensuring their satisfaction. Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to achieve project goals.
Due to the specific nature of the projects you need to be a NATO country Passport holder
Currently hold or be willing to apply for NATO Secret clearance
Strong track record in hands-on experience in implementing SAP IS D&S
Solid background in SAP HR or SAP MM/SD
Strong ABAP development and customization skills.
Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and defense-specific compliance requirements (e.g. DoD NATO).
Preferable a military background as Commissioned Officer
